Some key considerations, ideas, concepts and principles of living that I’ve learned over my 60+ years of living, learning, teaching and coaching.
These principles can be seen as true philosophies of life— and could improve your life.
Study and think about them and reflect on lessons you’ve learned over your life experiences, which can be empowering in your personal and professional development.
Regardless of your age or your profession or stage in your life, consider the following:
- BE THE CALM IN THE STORM – You need to stay calm in bad situations.
- You need to use the simplest and most efficient methods.
- You need to train until you trust yourself to act intuitively, without thinking.
- You need to act at the right time.
- You cannot let your emotions guide your actions.
- When you act, you must believe in what you are doing.
- You need to be mentally strong. Resilient on the inside as well on the outside.
- You have to keep an open mind.
- You have to keep learning new things while reinforcing the fundamentals.
- You need to develop and build your ability to adapt your plans if circumstances change.
Having ability to stay calm in the storms of life is one of my most important aspirations. This is what I want my family, my students and my community to see in me.
