Regarding Article: “West Side Substitutes”
Renee sent me an article this morning that sobered me to the fact that the performance industry is possibly in a state of spiraling into the depths of medeocrity. This article speaks of actors in a hit broadway show calling in sick and not even showing up for the show! This is not being a “professional”!
Renee and I are committed to being professionals and setting the example. This is the motivation behind our workshops and seminars. In humility, our mission is to help nurture and train the performing artists of tomorrow. We want the attitude of “the show must go on” to be in the pulse of our future performing artist. Not just in “idea”, but in “deed”…as in life, action speaks louder than words and the performing arts business is no different! THE SHOW MUST GO ON!
See you on the stage.
Your friend,
Peter Liciaga
